About us
How did it all begin?
The first seed planted into the subconscious while attending a driving safety course. There were mostly female attendees. One of the more substantial questions from the trainer was:
“What will you do in an emergency situation when you need to quickly change direction or suddenly break the car?”
Almost all attendees unanimously replied: “I will grab my handbag.”
With due shock, the trainer asked: “And where?”
The ladies said: “Next to me, on the front passenger seat.”
The trainer did not seem to understand and asked: “But why???”
The ladies said: “So that it does not fall off and everything does not tumble out!”
The trainer was in a state of shock: “And what about the steering wheel, brakes….???!!!”
Have you ever felt totally misunderstood because no man can see that an inseparable part of every woman is her handbag and its contents, which she values more than her own safety?
After many of my handbags had fallen off and the contents tumbled out, I decided to fulfil my dream of focussing more on driving than on my handbag and getting a car seat for my beloved other half (which is not my husband…).
The front seat organizers (for a handbag and its treasures that need to be close to hand) on the market really did not reflect the size (most of them just for a notebook, etc.), or the comfort (the handbag should be simply put in) that I was looking for. Moreover, they also offended my taste.
When I had quickly scanned the market, I found out I was not alone…. We female drivers all have our handbags, we love them and can’t stand it if they fall off the seat!
And then the business rat race should have begun,… on the contrary, a lot of fun ensued! Many of my beloved ones (not only handbags) jumped on the (ninth) wave of creativity… All participants have been having fun with the concept, mostly people from my family and friends. We are following a slogan which is not really out of a grammar book but it belongs to the gold standard of my family – “Meine Tasche sitzt sehr gut” (My bag sits very well), how about yours? J
And now one year later, your handbag can safely sit beside you in your car.
