Ever since I’ve had children, our car has been full of toys, shoes and an endless supply of crumbs :). Most of my own things end up in the boot, as I’m usually carrying a changing bag and a backpack for nursery or activities. We got the kids organisers for the car so that everything wouldn’t be scattered everywhere. But did you know there are organisers for us adults too? I certainly didn’t, so I was pleasantly surprised to be given the chance to try one.

Let me first introduce the brand. Friendi is the first to produce a Czech-designed car organiser. You can choose from a variety of colours and materials (leather or a highly durable, water-resistant fabric), and you don’t even have to worry about washing it. I chose the “Ekonomka” organiser, which measures 35 × 26 × 40 cm.

How does it actually work? The organiser is designed for the passenger seat and can be easily attached using two adjustable straps. If someone wants to sit in the seat, you can simply unclip it with one hand and move it to the back of the seat. You can carry pretty much anything in it — snacks, your handbag, flowers, a small dog, shopping, and so on. What’s more, thanks to a strap at the bottom, you can attach an extra bag or even a small rubbish bin.

Personally, I have to say — it’s a brilliant bit of Czech craftsmanship :). I no longer have to worry about my handbag spilling out while I’m driving, and I can finally keep my coffee within reach. Sadly, it’s also slowly filling up with the kids’ toys… :)
